Creative Arts, founded in 1982, offers children, ages 6-15, an opportunity
to explore visual and performing arts, creative writing, film and video, computers,
and athletics in an encouraging environment that cultivates artistic expression.
Due to ongoing renovations at Convent of the Sacred Heart we will be temporarily
housed at the neighboring Nightingale-Bamford School. The school's facilities
include air-conditioned classrooms, art and photography studios and a state-of-the-art
theatre.
Each camper in our
Regular Program (ages 8-15) selects his or her own
schedule from
over
80 classes. Class selection is by choice. Each camp day at 12:30pm
there is a
Noontime Show, an opportunity to share talents among staff
and campers. We also have
Guest
Artists visit the program.
Lunch and Noontime Shows are shared with the
Junior Program (ages 6-7).
The children travel to their activities
as a group and remain with their counselors throughout the day.
